OUTBOUND LIST ORDERING AND MIXING 2007-05-16

|
|
This document will outline the new optional feature within VICIDIAL outbound dialing that will allow for both list ordering and mixing while dialing outbound vicidial campaigns.
|

The Agent Side:
|

The Admin Side:
|
|
The lists used in a VICIDIAL campaign will be moved to a different tab in the Campaign Modification screen to allow for easier quick modification of the lists used and their order and mixing percentage. Also, a new field will be added to vicidial_campaigns table and a new vicidial_campaigns_list_mix table will be created to store the information for list ordering and mixing:

The list_mix field would be a container for the following parameters:
|
|
list_id|order|percent|statuses|:list_id|order|percent|statuses|:...
|
|
for example:

|
The percentages always have to add up to 100, and the lists all have to be active and set to the campaign for the order mix entry to be Activated.

The Server Side:
|
|
The AST_VDhopper.pl script will need to be changed to use the new order mix to grab and order the leads for a campaign. This will involve checking if the list_order_mix is set to DISABLED or not, and if it is then it will proceed as it currently does. If it does not, it will grab the vicidial_campaigns_list_mix record that matches the list_order_mix and parse through it's lists. Then it will do a SELECT for each of the lists and mix all of the leads together using the proper mix_method.
